STIRRINGS is an odyssey at once of children coming of age, witnessing the magic and beauty of a life and land secluded from the hardship of a land filled with terror and strife.
Like MY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN, STIRRINGS tells the story of an enchanted family learning life through the wonders of nature and the natural surrounds of their high mountain life, while chronicling, through their fathers words, the history and hardship of a country past it's innocence and in the midst of titanic struggle, in which the human will to survive endures, against all the terror and privation of a government and social system, so different than the children's magic mountain, careening into an abyss.
