The White Hotel
In the rarefied high mountain Italian Alps, the son of a banker, a young artist, son of a watchmaker and the most beautiful young woman on earth meet unexpectedly. Connected through a nearly incredible tangle of curious and shared history they decide, while the banker’s family sits for a family portrait, to summit the Peak surrounding this great Hotel. Jack Dempsey, one of many family members, arrives for a summer vacation and meets Henri, a young portrait painter earning tuition by his summer efforts. Hannah, a childhood neighbor of Jack, knowing this old NYC family with whom her parents are friendly, all vacationing at the White Hotel, seeks to discover his whereabouts.
